The members of As I Lay Dying refuse to be measured solely by their most recent accomplishments—and are never afraid to push the limits of their sound. Building upon the foundation that AILD has laid over the years, growing from a small San Diego outfit into a priority national act, the band has become Metal Blade Records’ biggest sellers with an extremely devoted following. The band’s electrifying live shows on tours such as Ozzfest, Taste of Chaos, and Sounds of the Underground add to their ever-growing fan base here and abroad. The Grammy-nominated band has also been named San Diego Music Award’s 2006 Artist of the Year (beating out Jason Mraz and Switchfoot) and voted 2006’s Metal Gods by MTV2.
